Minnesota’s Area Agencies on Aging (m4a) and their networks of service providers have extensive experience developing and delivering community-based services. Our agencies provide an easy to navigate portal to publicly subsidized, private, and voluntary service networks. We encourage you to partner with us for positive aging.
Through work with the Senior LinkAge Line®, Area Agencies provide direct one-on-one consultation to older adults and family caregivers and, as a result, are firmly connected at a grassroots level. Senior LinkAge Line® specialists help older adults and family caregivers:
- Locate transportation, transitional support, in-home care, meals and other services in the individual’s neighborhood
- Find low-cost service providers with sliding-scale fee arrangements
- Create individualized plans for tapping into community supports
- Connect with respite care, support groups and coaches.
